|Kings Park - Lotterywest Family Area|
The Lotteries Family Area at Kings Park is the broad term for the Ivy Watson Playground, the Stickybeaks Cafe and the surrounding park with gazebos, bbqs and picnic areas.
The Ivey Watson Playground is designed for kids 1-5 years old and has a great range of different equipment and play areas - all of which are in the shade thanks to some huge shade sails! There is a pirate ship, tube slides, climbing frame, etc etc and also a dedicated area for really tiny kids.
The Cafe sits inside the fenced playground and you can sit at tables and eat and drink or get takeaway coffee to sip while following your kids around. Stickybeaks Cafe is open 8am to 3pm Thursday - Sunday for breakfast lunch and snacks.
Outside the playground amongst the trees and picnic areas are a number of other pieces of play equipment. The coolest of these is the 'spacenet' a giant rope climbing frame. This is great for bigger kids and a bit scary for some smaller ones.
In Kings Park, entry is off Kings Park Road opposite Outram Street.
